Closed Today for Family Thanksgiving

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday, for the first time in 18 months, I took my kids to the park. I watched them play on the slides and swings. I watched the wind carry the leaves and fall softly to the grass, I went down slides and rolled in the grass at Philip Marx Central Park in Tehachapi. I bonded with them and even became a kid myself again. My daughter Luna and I lay on the grass and pointed at clouds. We even made pretend fire with twigs and reddish yellow leaves. After we went to Tehachapie, a wonderful establishment with wonderful owners. The French apple pie was delicious and comforting. When we arrived home my daughter wanted to read me a book. She chose, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." As I felt the pages rewind the VHS on my life. She pointed to the Roast Beast and said, "Daddy, can we have Roast Beast for dinner." I replied, "It's not real, sweetheart. It's from a made-up up book." She quickly responded, "Daddy, it's from imagination. It's the same place as Kyoko's." I smiled and set out on this task. I made my princess Roast Beast for dinner, and she said, "I knew you could do it." It was so good, as a family we have decided to be open on Thanksgiving Day to serve 80 plates of Dr.Seuss' Roast Beast. We will be closed today to celebrate our family Thanksgiving. Thank you for your support and understanding
